3️⃣ Connector: The CT has a male connector and the power monitoring device has a female connected. Unused female connectors have a weather proof plug. The connectors are used to enable the CT to be installed on a circuit inside a switch board or cabinet while the CPMD is installed out side the switchboard

Environment

Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.  The CPMD must not be located inside a steel switch board or cabinet as this will prevent RF transmission of the data.

Limitations

Each CPMD can be fitted with up to 3 CPMCT and monitor 3 single phase circuits or one three phase circuit.

A maximum of 5 CPMD devices can be installed on a single system.  (15 x single phase circuits)

SETUP THE CMPD

FIT THE CT SENSOR CLAMPS

1️⃣ You need to ensure the CT sensor clamps are installed on the correct cable to receive the correct readings

These options are a guide only and you should consult your electrician to ensure the location of the CT sensors is correct

USE YOUR SMART PLUG

1️⃣ Plug the appliance to be controlled into the iZone smart plug

2️⃣ Control your appliance via the touch screen , smart phone or tablet , or iZone wireless switch or the on / off button on the iZone smart plug

It may be necessary for the electrician to modify the wiring in your switchboard to achieve the correct result for your particular installation

2️⃣ Pull the clip on the CT clamp and open it

3️⃣ Place the cable in the CT and close it. Make sure the clip on the CT clicks closed and locks in place

4️⃣ Drill a hole in the side or bottom of the switchboard. It should be large enough to accommodate all the CT cables you are installing plus a rubber grommet

5️⃣ Install a suitable rubber grommet into the hole (Not supplied)

6️⃣ Pass the connectors through the hole

7️⃣ If the switchboard is located outdoors, ensure the penetration into the switchboard is waterproof
