TO CREATE A RECIPE

A recipe can only be created in the iZone Home App

  1. Press Menu: To access the Recipes press Menu on the iZone Home App home screen

  2. Select Recipes tab: The Menu will open. Scroll down to Recipes and press

  3. Press Create New Recipe: To create a new Recipe press the Create new Recipe tab here

  4. Sample Recipe: You can select a sample recipe here

  5. Sample Recipe summary: This is the sample Recipe summary

  6. Options for Comfort samples: When one of the categories is opened it will show the sample Recipes that are available for use. You may need to customise them slightly to suit your particular system configuration

  7. Categories: There is a list of different sample categories to choose from - Comfort, Artificial Intelligence, Savings, Health, Security, Every Day Stuff, System Status

  8. To create a Recipe from scratch don't select "Sample Recipes": For sample Recipes see 5 above

  9. Set the Trigger to start the Recipe: To create a new Recipe from scratch you first need to set one or more Triggers that will start the Recipe running. The Triggers available are shown here. If multiple Triggers are set then all the Triggers have to fire for the Action(s) to occur. You can set a maximum of 4 Triggers

  10. Set the Action required: Once the Trigger has fired you need to tell the Recipe what Actions you want to occur as a result of the Triggers firing. The Actions available are shown here. You can select more than one Action to occur

11. Trigger categories: These are the categories that are available to choose from. Press to open the
category

12. Time category: This example uses the time category

13. Time Zone: The time zone or location is shown here and will correspond with your location you stated on your systems worldwide registration

14. Source: The may be multiple sources to choose from. Press on the source to see the option available

15. Description: This is the description of your Trigger

16. Adjust time: You can adjust the time before or after sunrise here. Different categories have different option to adjust

17. Days this Trigger is active: You can select only certain days for this Trigger to be active. Green = active. Blue = deactivated

18. Press to Add this Trigger: Once you are happy and want to save this Trigger press the Add button. Once you press "Add" it will show you a summary of your Triggers and Actions for this Recipe and will give you the option to add more Triggers to the Recipe

You can have a maximum of 4 Triggers in any one Recipe

SET A NEW ACTION

19. Action Categories: These are the categories that are available to choose from. Press to open the category

20. Lighting Category: This example uses the Lighting category

21. Select light to Action: In this example we have selected the Lounge Lamp

22. Function: Select what you would like the light to do. There are numerous options. In this example we have selected ON/OFF functionality

23. Set function: Set the function here by scrolling up our down. In this example we have selected to switch the light on

24. Notification: Here you can select if you want to receive a message confirming you want to switch the light on

25. Action immediately: Here you can select if you just want the light to turn on instantly when the Trigger has been pulled without any notification or delay

26. Delay Action by XX minutes: Here you can select if you want to delay the light turning on by a period of time. For example you could select 5 minutes after the Trigger has been pulled

27. Add this Action: Press here when you are happy with your settings for this Action to save them. Once you press "Add" it will show you a summary of your Triggers and Actions for this Recipe and will give you the option to add more Actions to this Recipe

You can have a maximum of 4 Recipes in any one Recipe
