iZone Home 3.0.18 - Oct 2024

General enhancements

  • Support added for Hisense and Gree U-Match ducted AC unit.

  • Overheat Protection feature enabled/disabled for Daikin/Panasonic zoning systems.

  • Return Air control disabled for Brivis.

  • Display damper open percentage in AC settings under Zone Status list.

Nova controller enhancement

  • Select all text when editing zone name or room name.

  • Rapid Scan support added for setting AC unit brand.

  • Default bypass covered area set to 40% of the total zoned area.

  • Option for installers to set COCB to a static IP in hotspot mode.

  • Restrictions applied to installer accounts to prevent pairing or linking of video doorbells, cameras, Centurion garage doors, and Gainsborough door locks with the customer’s system.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed slow screen refresh when switching to home page.

  • Corrected sleep timer remaining time display issue.

  • Fixed error message display for login attempts with an empty password.

Show AC mode and set point in zone control screen

The AC mode and AC set point (for return air) is shown as a short cut on each zone control page.

Include the ability to pair a zone temperature sensor to a constant zone

*Require firmware versions COCBH v4.28, C225/C150/C155 v3.67 and higher

Introduce a new zone type called a Constant with temp sensor. This allows an installer to pair a zone temperature sensor to a constant zone. This feature will be rolled out in later versions of the COCBH and CPU modules.

Show red dot for AC no comms

The red dot on the home screen implies a) no comms between the Nova controller and smart hub OR b) no comms between the smart hub and CPU module. Check diagnostic settings to confirm.

Support AC VRF subsystems

Install an iZone VRF host module and show all fan coil units and zones on the home page.

Nova controller enhancements

  • New installer account interface:

    • Allow an installer to switch between his own linked AC unit and a homeowner’s system when onsite.

    • Add valid test link to check error code, fault history, test system in one page.

  • Auto detect Smart Hub (COCBH) when available on network (no need to open/close the app).

  • Show a list of available Wi-Fi SSIDs when trying to connect the smart hub (COCBH) to a WiFi network without a CAT5 cable.

  • After joining Wi-Fi hotspot, the Nova will connect to the same Wi-Fi automatically.

  • Provide installer with the ability to set C225 to default settings i.e. restore zone count, names and types to factory settings.

General enhancements

  1. Support ‘sprinklers stop watering’ as a trigger option in recipes

  2. Allow a user to order the available systems in the header of the home page.

  3. Support solar diversion configuration settings and control
