The iZone app or Nova wall controller may be unresponsive or is experiencing lag.

If the Nova wall controller is unresponsive or stuck, or if the iZone app is freezing, there may be instances where the iZone Home app or Nova responds after a delay. If the issue persists, please follow the below steps to troubleshoot.

Clearing the App data to reset the iZone Home App on Nova

This issue may stem from errors in the app or glitches in the Nova controller. To resolve this, please clear the app data and force stop the app by following these steps:

  • Press the Home option in the Nova app.

  • Once on the Android home screen, where you see the clock, press and hold the iZone app icon at the bottom, then select "App Info."

  • On the App Info page, scroll down and click on "Storage and Cache," then select "Clear Storage."

  • After clearing the storage, go back and choose "Force Stop" for the app.

  • Finally, click "Open" on the same page to reopen the app.

Additionally, ensure you have the latest version of the Nova software installed. To update Nova:

  • On the iZone home page, click on Menu → Settings.

  • Under Nova Settings, tap on the version number.

  • Tap "Check for Updates."

(Please ensure that Nova is connected to the internet.)
