How to replace COCBH on Nova if the existing COCBH is not working
You need an installer code to proceed with the process below on the Nova wall controller, or an installer account if you're using the iZone Home app.
Please ensure that the firmware for the CPU, COCBH, and Nova wall controller is up to date.
The minimum required firmware versions are CPU v3.64, COCBH v4.25, and Nova v1.08.
If your current smart hub COCBH is not functioning or needs replacement, please follow these steps:
Open the iZone Home app on the Nova wall controller.
Go to Menu → Settings, select Installer, and enter your installer ID.
Now, navigate to Category → iZone Hub, then click on the hub listed under this tab.
Record the CPU ID (this step is important).
Then, click on the cog button on top right and enter the hub settings
Here, record the RF channel (this step is important).
Next, click unpair Hub from CPU option.
Once you have both the CPU ID and RF channel and unpaired the hub from the CPU, disconnect the existing hub and connect the new hub to the router/modem.
Close and re-open the iZone Home app.
Go to Menu → Settings, click on the hub ID under Systems, and select Pair Hub to CPU.
Enter the recorded CPU ID and RF channel, then click "Pair."
After completing these steps successfully, the new hub will be paired with the system, and the Nova wall controller and iZone Home app will be ready to use with the new COCBH.
Please make sure that once the new Hub is paired, the Snowflake LED should be solid blue, indicating successful pairing, and the Globe LED should be solid, indicating internet access.
