The COCB/COCBH is a wired or wireless open-connection Hub that links iZone air conditioning and Home Automation systems to the home Wi-Fi, enabling control of iZone systems via smartphone, tablet, or voice activation through a third-party device.

Antenna: RF 433MHz antenna. For wireless communication with C225 and wireless iZone devices

Reset button: To reset the COCB/COCBH press this button.

iZone World Wide LED: This LED indicates that the hub is communicating with the iZone World Wide Server

Pairing LED: This LED will flash when the COCB/COCBH is in the process of pairing to the system

Pair button: Press this button to pair the COCB/COCBH to the system

Wall mounting point on back: A hanging bracket is incorporated on the back of the COCB/COCBH to enable the device to be hung from a single point on a wall or similar

Ethernet activity LED: This LED indicates the COCB/COCBH is connected to a network and is communicating

Wireless LED: This LED indicates RF 433MHz wireless communication with wireless devices. If the COCB/COCBH is hard wired to the C225 via the CGB2C35 cable it will indicate CAN communication with the C225

Rubber feet for desk top mounting: 4 small rubber feet are installed for mounting on a desk similar

Power jack Port: The COCB/COCBH power adaptor is connected here

Ethernet RJ45 Port: Connect a CAT5 cable from the home Wi-Fi router (LAN) or network to this Ethernet port on the COCB/COCBH

iZone Net Port: If a wired connection between the C225 module and this Hub is required, a special cable (CGB2C35) is used to connect the C225 module and the COCB/COCBH Hub via this iZone Net Port

Snowflake LED: Indicates a successful pairing when the LED is solid blue.

Wireless Set-up Diagram

iZone Hub COCB/COCBH: Desk mounted or hung on from the wall using the fixing point under the Hub

Mounting inside metal cabinets may block signals. Use an antenna extender if unavoidable.

For best wireless coverage, place the hub near the center of the building and off the floor.

CFC1S: 1 meter long Ethernet cable supplied with the Hub. Longer Ethernet cables can be used provided they meet the required specification

Customers modem / router: The customers modem must be compatible with iZone.

Ethernet port: Connect the CFC1S cable provided into the Ethernet port on the iZone Hub

LAN port: Connect the CFC1S cable provided with the iZone Hub into a LAN port on the modem / router

WAN Port:

Do not connect to a router's WAN port

Hub power adaptor: Connect the iZone power adaptor supplied with the Hub into the port labelled "Power". Plug the power supply into a suitable 240 AC GPO

Pair button: Press and hold down the pair button whilst you tap the pair button on the iZone controller momentarily to pair the hub to the system.

Pair LED: The pair LED will flash rapidly when the Hub is pairing to the iZone system

Quick Guide-Pairing the iZone Hub to the CPU

With the Nexus/Nano Wall Controller:

  1. Plug in the Hub to a power point.

  2. Press and hold the pair button on the Hub.

  3. While holding the button, tap the pair icon on the screen momentarily.

  4. Release the pair button on the Hub once the LED flashes rapidly.

  5. The lights on the hub will now start spinning in a circular pattern.

  6. Wait for the Snowflake LED to illuminate, indicating a successful pair.

Without the Wall Controller:

  1. Press and hold the pair button on the Hub.

  2. While holding the button, tap the pair blue button on the iZone CPU momentarily.

  3. Release the pair button on the Hub once the LED flashes rapidly.

  4. The lights on the hub will now start spinning in a circular pattern.

  5. Wait for the Snowflake LED to illuminate, indicating a successful pair.

Connecting to the Modem

  1. Connect the LAN cable from the Hub’s Ethernet port to the modem/router LAN port.

  2. The Globe LED will illuminate blue, and the Ethernet port LEDs will turn orange and green, confirming a successful connection.

Verifying Hub Configuration

  1. Open the system configuration and enter the password: wamfud.

  2. Navigate to Wi-Fi Hub Configuration.

  3. Verify System ID, IP Address, and MAC Address.

Completing Setup

  1. Download the iZone Home App on your device.

  2. Follow the app instructions to start controlling your iZone smart home system.

Information for NOVA / NOVA Mini Controllers:

In the NOVA and NOVA MINI kit, the hub comes pre-paired with the CPU. Once the system is commissioned, You can connect the hub to your modem and directly download the iZone app to start using the system on your smartphone.
