MODEM COMPATIBILITY

While we cannot provide a definitive list of modems that we are compatible with, we can confirm that no iZone app functions will work with TPG or Huawei modems (including any re-badged modems from either of these manufacturers)

Huawei modems - will not work over the local Wi-Fi network but may work over 3g/4g

Huawei HG659 - will not work on the local Wi-Fi network or 3g/4g

Optus Modem - CG3000-2STAUS - Will not work on 3g/4g

Foxtel Hub modem - Only works via 4g. Does not work via local Wi-Fi network

Telstra Smart Modem - You must open port 12107 to allow the iZone to access the internet. Contact a network technician to be able to open/close ports on your modem

Mesh Networks - Some wi-fi mesh networks will randomly kick the bridge of the network, setting a static IP for the bridge may help keep the bridge connected to the network

This is not the complete list as we cannot test every single modem ever manufactured. Your modem may be incompatible with the iZone system we just may have not come across it yet

WHY DOES MY WEATHER COME UP AS PERTH?

This can occur before you have completed the sign-up for the worldwide servers, If you haven’t signed-up for the world-wide servers, please click on the link below:

If you have completed the sign-up process and see the weather as Perth, then we need to add your suburb and post code to your world-wide account, please follow the below steps:

  1. You can sign into your account here: Worldwide Login

  2. Enter the same email and password you used during the sign-up process

  3. Click the edit button under Customer Details

  4. Enter in your Suburb and Post Code

  5. Click submit

  6. Please wait for at least 30 minutes to see a change on your controller

Not all suburbs have a weather station, if the weather for your area does not appear, please choose another suburb close by

I JUST MOVED INTO A NEW HOUSE WITH AN IZONE SYSTEM…

You will need to check to see if the last owner has left the iZone Wi-Fi bridge behind, if they have taken it by mistake, unfortunately you will need to purchase a new wi-fi bridge to gain access to the iZone Home App and the worldwide service. You can purchase a new bridge at our online store: iZone Wi-Fi Bridge

If you have moved into a new home and you can’t signup because the old owners still have an active account, please contact support directly to remove the old account: iZone Support
