DESCRIPTION - iZONE 420 & 425
iZone 430 & 435 is an integrated air conditioning unit and zone controller that uses a Nano touch screen (CCTSS#) for the graphic user interface
Zones can be temperature controlled by adding iZone sensors and an induct temperature sensor
The iZone 420 system does not include Wi-Fi control as it is supplied without a bridge
The iZone 425 is supplied with an iZone Bridge, the user can control the AC and zones via Wi-Fi from their smart phone or tablet. Other iZone automation products such as lighting, irrigation, garage door control etc can also be added and controlled
iZone 420 & 425 can be configured as 0-8 zones or 9-14 zones

GENERAL INSTALLATION GUIDE
1️⃣ The C225, C325# and CEXT can be installed close to the indoor fan coil unit
2️⃣ If any wireless sensor (CRFS#) or wireless bridge (COCB) is not within the range of the C225 then additional repeaters (CR) should be added to help relay the signal from the field device to the C225 and the bridge
3️⃣ Do not run the cat5e cables alongside 240 Volt wiring
4️⃣ When installing network cables down wall cavities or chasing network cables into walls, tape up and protect the RJ45 connector to avoid damage to the connectors
Installation damage to cables is not covered under warranty
5️⃣ Always install zones in consecutive ports starting at Zone number one (1)
The C225 and CEXT are marked with the zone port numbers
6️⃣ Do not directly hard wire the CT24ACE into the AC unit’s power supply
This may void the warranty as it will require an electrician in the event that a repair of the iZone power supply is required
7️⃣ Connect Zone Damper Actuators (CZDA) to the zone ports using the RJ12 cables as shown in the Wiring layout diagrams
8️⃣ Connect the Colour Touch Screens (CCTSS#) to the iZone Net ports using the RJ45 cables
If you are connecting more than 3 components requiring iZone Net ports to the system you will need to connect a Network Extension Module Kit (CNEMK)
9️⃣ If any zone is temperature controlled, connect an in Duct Temperature Sensor (CDTS) to the CDTS port
Install the sensor into the supply air duct upstream of all dampers, then secure the sensor in place by using reinforced aluminium tape
1️⃣ 0️⃣ When installing temperature controlled zones ensure the CCTSS# or sensor for the associated zone is installed in a location that is representative of the temperature in the room / zone
The sensor should be installed at approximately 1600mm above the floor and should not be subject to draughts, direct sunlight or heat from equipment such as computers, TV screens etc
The supply air outlets to this room must not blow conditioned air directly onto the sensors or touch screens
1️⃣ 1️⃣ Connect the AC unit control cable to the C225 / C325.
See AC unit wiring connection section for details - C325#: AC Unit Interface - Install Guides
This control cable must be a shielded cable and is not normally supplied by iZone
1️⃣ 2️⃣ The building must be fitted with a compatible Wi-Fi modem
For a list of approved and recommended modems - COCB - Smart Hub - Install Guide
1️⃣ 3️⃣ If connecting the iZone system to a Home Automation system use the Ethernet connection on the bridge - iZone API Integration - Install Guide
1️⃣ 4️⃣ Only connect the power supply to the CT24ACE port after all components have been connected
1️⃣ 5️⃣ Any existing or new air conditioning units that require modification or additional boards to facilitate the correct operation of the iZone system, is the responsibility of the installing contractor
