No Comms: Screen -> CCPU Message

No Comms: Screen → CCPU message means there is a communication issue either internally between iZone components or between iZone and the AC Unit. It could be related to different parts of the system or could be a simple software glitch that can be fixed by resetting your iZone system/AC unit.

Fixing by Resetting the system

If your screen (Nexus/Nano screen) shows No Comms: Screen → CCPU message:

  • There will be a reset button that will need to be pressed on the screen.

    • If in Landscape the button will be in the bottom left corner underneath the screen.

    • If in Portrait the button will be on the top left corner on the side.

After pressing the reset button, let the system to reboot and then check if you can see the AC menu and can control the AC. If this works it could have been a glitch of communication or software.

Checking the system by the phone App

If resetting the system did not fix the issue and you still can see the same error message, you can use the iZone App to control your AC as well (this requires iZone bridge CB, CL5B or COCB have been paired with your iZone CPU and connected to your WIFI modem).

After making sure that your Bridge is powered on and connected to the modem, Please check if you still CAN control your AC by the App:

  • Yes: most likely the screen (Nexus/Nano) or CAT cable connection ends are at fault and need to be replaced/fixed.

  • No: there is a high chance that the iZone CPU is at fault and needs to be checked or replaced if needed. Still screen or CAT cable could be at fault is.

For local help you can contact your installer for further checks and hardware fixes. If the installer company details is not recorded please check in the link here to find your local iZone dealer: https://izone.com.au/smart-dealers/

Check the iZone Net Port

If the error persists then you can move to inspect the hardware and follow the instructions below.

. Try a different ethernet cable to connect the wall control panel to the CPU (C225)

. plug the ethernet cable (Cat-5) from the wall control panel to a different iZone Net port on the CPU (C225) and check if that resolves the issue. (these are 3 ports available on the top of the CCPU)

If there is any network extension module installed for isense or multiple wall controller and all of the above triage did not resolve your issue, then try following the steps.

  • bypass the network extension module and plug the wall control panel into the CCPU (C225) iZone Net Port directly.

  • if the error disappeared it would confirm that your network extension module is faulty and require replacement.
