The sensor works and shows the temperature but intermittently the room temperature disappears

If your wireless temperature sensor is working fine and shows red and blue light when you press the button on it. However, the room temperature disappears intermittently. This represents there is an issue with the signal strength. This is not a usual scenario but you can check a few things to rectify the issue

Reset the wall control panel

You can start by resetting the system.

There is a reset button that will need to be pressed on the screen

  • If in Landscape the button will be in the bottom left corner underneath the screen

  • If in Portrait the button will be on the top left corner on the side

Once the button is pressed the screen will go blank but if you touch the screen to wake it up you will be presented with a start-up screen. Once that sequence is finished check if your issue is resolved.

Repair the wireless temperature system

Once the system reset sequence is completed you can press and hold the pair button on the wireless control panel for 5 seconds and it will repair the wireless control panel with the iZone system again.

Relocate the sensor

Once the wireless temperature sensor is repaired, try to relocate the sensor to the location where it will be near to iZone CPU (C225) in the roof. once the wireless temperature sensor is relocated near to CPU signal strength should be strong enough to create a stable connection. However, if your issue persists you can use the antenna extension

Use antenna Extension

You can use the antenna extension on the CPU (C225). this will give you the ability to relocate the antenna to a different location so you can place it closer to the sensor or point it toward the sensor.

Wireless repeater

If using the antenna extension does not resolve your issue, you can try the iZone wireless repeater, this boosts the signal strength between the iZone devices within your premises and reduces the chances of signal dropouts for the wireless temperature sensors. However, performing all of the triage processes mentioned above does not resolve your issue. we will recommend you to replace the wireless temperature sensor as your sensor could be faulty as well.
