iZone CL5B Bridge Installation & Setup Guide
PAGE CONTENTS
The CL5B bridge has been superseded by the COCB and COCBH smart Hub. The following information is provided for existing systems still in the field that may require maintenance or repairs.
Photo & Description
The CL5B is a wired or wireless RF bridge that connects iZone air conditioning and lighting systems to the home Wi-Fi, enabling control via a smartphone, tablet, or voice activation through third-party devices.
iZone Net Port: For wired connections between the C225 module and the bridge. Use the special CGB2C35 cable to connect via this port.
Pair button: Used to pair the CL5B with the C225 system.
Ethernet port: Connects the bridge to the customer’s modem/router
433 MHz wireless antenna: Enables wireless communication with the C225 module and other iZone wireless devices.
Ethernet activity LED: On when connected to an ethernet port on the modem; off when not connected.
Activity LED: Shows activity on both Ethernet and iZone Net (RF or CAN) interfaces.
iZone: On when connected to a C225 module; off when not connected.

Wireless Set-up Diagram
iZone Bridge CL5B: For best wireless coverage, place the bridge near the center of the building and off the floor.
Mounting inside metal cabinets may block signals. Use an antenna extender if unavoidable.
CFC1S: 1 meter long Ethernet cable supplied with the bridge. Longer Ethernet cables can be used provided they meet the required specification
Customers modem / router: The customers modem must be compatible with iZone.
Ethernet port: Connect the CFC1S cable provided into the Ethernet port on the iZone bridge
LAN port: Connect the CFC1S cable provided with the iZone bridge into a LAN port on the modem / router
WAN Port:
Do not connect to a router's WAN port
Bridge power adaptor: Connect the iZone power adaptor supplied with the bridge into the port labelled "Power". Plug the power supply into a suitable 240 AC GPO
Pair button: Press and hold down the pair button whilst you tap the pair button on the iZone controller momentarily to pair the bridge to the system.
