Please ensure that your Nova's version is up to date. Follow these steps: Go to Nova Settings >Tap on iZone > Tap on the "Nova Controller" option >Tap on "Check for Updates."

Using the Online Installation Wizard

Scan the QR code below to access the online installation wizard for the C535 Series. Please provide the information below.

Please select the Brand of Air con you are installing.

Is the iZone home mobile app required (please select Yes).

Please chooses the Type of constant/bypass zone.

Please select the Number of Zones that are using temperature sensors.

Please select the Number of Zones that are just open/close

Then click submit for a wiring diagram of the system and a step by step guide on how to install the iZone.

 The online installation wizard will cover all of the below installation steps:

Manages communication between CPU and the AC unit.  The # will be replaced with an acronym for the AC unit brand e.g. C325D2 for Daikin and C325P2 for Panasonic etc.

Smart Hub

Manages communication between the CPU and Nova wall controller as well as the communication between the iZone Home mobile app and the CPU.

CRFSW

Wireless temperature senser

Temperature sensor for a zone.  iZone also offers a wired option.

CRFS2

Compact temperature sensor

Temperature sensor for a zone.  Same as the CRFSW but smaller. No button to open/close a zone.

CCASSW

Nova Mini wall controller

7″ touch screen

CCASLW

Nova wall controller

CTDC12

Nova power supply

Power supply for the touch screen.  iZone also provides a 35m cable (15m DC cable) as an alternative option.

CDTS

Induct temperature sensor

Is only required on systems that have iZone zone temperature sensors for the control of zones.

General Installation Instructions

  • First, connect the Central Processing Unit (CPU) to the power supply. Then, connect the zone motors to the CPU C225. Attach the C325 AC unit module to the Central Processing Unit. Next, wire the AC unit control cable to the FCU or indoor unit. For the wiring diagram, please refer to the link provided below.

Nova Installation and Setup Instructions

  • Please unbox the nova controller and connect both the Nova and the iZone Hub to the power supply. iZone hub/ bridge is already paired up with the Nova

  • Please make sure the nova is connected to the iZone hub network. Please make sure that Nova has that wifi symbol on right top corner

  • Open the iZone app on the Nova device. Then, tap on the "Setup" option located in the top section

  • Please enter the installer code to set up your system

If you dont have an installer account please follow this link https://trade.izone.com.au/and register for an iZone installer account.

  • Please select the brand of your Aircon and press continue. As show in picture given below

  • In next step, please configure your Air con as shown in figure given below

If you are installing a temperature sensor, please ensure that the controlling sensor is set to "Zones."

  • In the next step, configure each zone one by one. First, enter the name of the zone. Then, choose the type of zone. If the zone has a wireless temperature sensor, please select "Zone Temperature Sensor" for that zone

  • Once you have configured each zone, the system will display a summary of your configured setup. If all the information is correct, please tap on "Confirm"

  • Lastly it will upload all the settings to the CPU and if you have temperature sensors the next step is to pair the sensors

  • Now you system is all set up and ready to use

Before pairing the sensors, ensure you have installed the induct temperature sensor (CDTS) in the supply air duct. For detailed instructions, please refer to the provided link. CDTS: In-Duct Temperature Sensor - Install Guide

 

Pairing the Sensors after initial set up

  • To Pair the Temp sensors with the system, please tap on menu in iZone app

  • Please select the type of sensor

  • Press and hold the pair button on sensor then press the pair icon in the app

To connect the Nova to the internet and the system to the app, please watch the video provided below.

Please do not connect the iZone hub with the internet before commissioning or configuring the entire system. After configuration is complete, please connect the iZone hub to the internet modem.

 

For regular app updates, it's recommended that the customer create a new Google account. If using existing google account, make sure you disable backup.
