Known Modem Issues or Challenges
Optus Modem - CG3000-2STAUS - Will not work on 3G/4G 9remote access)
it requires either a static IP address set for the iZone hub OR if the iZone hub is COCB/COCBH type, make sure the firmware is minimum v4.29, this does not require a static IP and can connect and operate via the internet as usual.
Mesh Networks Some Wi-Fi mesh networks will randomly kick the iZone Hub out of the network, setting a static IP for the bridge may help keep the bridge connected to the network
Starlink Modems have only one LAN port on its device. If that single port is already taken (which normally is the case), they can use a switch or port extender to add more ports into their networking system and wire the bridge into it.
Besides HTTPS, our system also requires the following protocols and ports to be available on the user’s network:
Bridge communication: UDP port 12107
App control (local): TCP port 80
Cloud App control (worldwide): TCP port 35786
This is not the complete list as we cannot test every single modem ever manufactured. Your modem may be incompatible with the iZone system we just may have not come across it yet
