The following interface has now been superseded by the C325L2 interface. The information provided below is for existing systems that are still in the field and may require maintenance or repairs

LG Compatibility: LG condensing unit must be supplied with an optional PI485 Gateway (M) board in the condensing unit

Current Firmware Version - 1.2

  • Connect a shielded, 2 core, twisted pair control cable from the  C225 / C325L to the PI485 Gateway (M) board in the condensing unit. This cable is supplied by the installer

  • Dip switches 1 and 4 = ON

  • All others are = OFF

LG PI485 Gateway (M) board in condensing unit: This board is supplied by LG. It is an optional extra and must be ordered with the AC unit

B wire: Connect to this terminal in on the PI485 PCB in the condensing unit

A wire: Connect to this terminal in on the PI485 PCB in the condensing unit

Shielded, 2 core, twisted pair control cable: Polarity is critical.
